2017: The Year I Set Goals For The First Time:

Hi, how’s it going?
As 2016 begins to end, I have been asked thoughout the last month what are my one, five year life plan is. To be honest I don’t have a life plan, but it has got myself thinking about setting goals for myself.

I have never set goals nor stick to new years resolution because I feel they can be a burden. I never been motivated to set goals before because, I never really understood the goal setting thing.

Then I realize from the advice I have been given or movies I watched have inspired myself that you should live your life.

This year I have decided to begin writing my goals for the upcoming year blogging and life wise. I have written three goals for each, here they are:

2017 Blog goals:
1. Create a consistency routine with blog posts.
2. Write blog posts of what I know aka finding my niche
3. Improve my photography.

2017 Life goals:
1. Get a job

2. Re-decorate my room

3. Maintain and continue doing my hobbies.

These goals I have come up are not as

I'm looking forward to saying goodbye to 2016, this year has had it ups and downs. I'm getting ready to work towards my goals my life and blogging.

What are your goals for 2017? I would love to know!

Happy New Year!

The Things I Love About Christmas

Hi, how's it going?

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Everyone says Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. I thought I would share my favourite things I love about Christmas!

Getting together with family:
One of the first things I love about Christmas is being with everyone in my family including extended family I don't see often. There's that feeling of being together that I love because its one day of the year that you should be with your loved ones.

Food:
Christmas food. The best time to eat everything and anything. I don't believe in a set menu for Christmas because people serve different dishes on the day. I'm lucky that I have family that cooks different meals for the day.

Christmas lights:
Driving around the streets and checking out the homes that are deck out with Christmas lights is cool to look at. The streets aren't always deck out, it varies from street to street.

Relaxing:
I think one of the things that I look forward to is relaxing during Christmas. There's no more shopping and running around to do anymore. Once it done, its done just sit back and relax.

Christmas music:
I enjoy old and new Christmas music, do you remember hi-5 Christmas album? Justin Bieber Christmas songs? Yes I enjoy, I have songs that I enjoy singing and dancing along to! Santa Claus is coming to town is one of my favourites.

These 3 Coffee Places

Hi, how's it going?

I love coffee. It's a fact. I can't start my day without a strong cup of it.I even have a but first coffee pyjama shirt from Victoria secret. Whenever I go out to either to do errands or hang out with family, I like to stop for a coffee- usual my second one I know it's abit bad.

Depending what I feel like having-my usual order is either a skim latte, cappuccino or ice coffee. The places I make a visit to are near my favourite  hangout or  places.

Jet Espresso
Where: North Perth:
This lovely café in North Perth has become a favourite place of mine. They not only have a range of   hot and cold drinks. But their iced coffee is the bomb! Their carrot cake is a definite must try.

Little Sisto Café
Where: Double view
This small  and trendy café I recently visited for a late Sunday afternoon coffee and brunch was a place I hadn't been before. It definitely a place to try out if your in the area.

96 Degrees Café
Where: North Beach
This recently open  new café in North Beach is one to look out for. They served healthy treats and good coffee. Their location is nearthe beach which makes it even better to grab a coffee and walk down to the beach.

These three cafes all lovely customer service as well as text your coffee order system.

What are the places you head to for coffee? I would love to hear from you.

Christmas Baking: GingerBread Men.

Hi, how's it going?

One of the things I love about Christmas is definitely the food side of it. Let's be honest it's the baking side of it! It's a great way to give a gift without spending a lot of money.

I recently made a batch of gingerbread men for a group of people to give as a gift.

I don't think their is one recipe for gingerbread men because their are many different recipes on the health side or using less or more ingredients. The recipe I used for this batch of cookies was from food to love website. You can have a look here.

When it comes to decorating and icing, I'm not the best to be honest. I was looking through my pantry and I found Cadbury white chocolate melts. Then I added red and green m&ms on top.

Here's the quick icing recipe:
1x handful of Cadbury white chocolate melts
1x Handful of red and green m&ms.

1. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave on medium heat. Stir until melted.
2.Lay gingerbeardman on a board.
3. Grabbed a spoon and begin to drizzle over the gingerbread men.
4. Quickly place the m&ms on the cookies.

Then bam! You got gingerbread man!

Whats you favourite Christmas baking recipe?

Simple ways to survive the Chrismas madness!

Hi, how's it going?

Yes can you believe it's the  first of December.

The countdown to Christmas has  began! Then their is the list of many things to get done before December 25 definitely deserves the word madness.

I have come up with some tips to get through the Christmas madness month.

Start your research:
Begin your research for presents by asking your family what they want for Christmas early. They probably won't tell you straight away, its fine.  But when they do write it down  either on your phone or on a notebook.

Create a present/to do list (spreadsheet style):
Once you know or have a idea of the presents to buy them begin writing a present list for family and friends. This year I decided to create my present list in Microsoft excel in spreadsheet style. I form the spreadsheet to  keep track of whom I need to buy or make presents for.

I think it's a great idea to write your to-do list on the next page so you can keep track of everything on the one document.

Below I have attached a picture of how I have lay-out my spreadsheet:

Use your calendar/ diary
Use your diary either a  paper one or the  calendar app on your phone to record upcoming Christmas parties or appointments. The moment you confirm the date and time of a party or appointment write it down straight away because their a change you can forget it.I have been known to have forgotten dates.

Take it a day at a time:
Their will be times during the Christmas  period were you can get overwhelmed  or stressed whilst dealing with other life priorities. I think it's important to take it a day a time to avoid feeling that way.

How do you deal with the Christmas madness period?

I'm getting excited for Christmas this year and hope you are to.

I hope you enjoyed this post.

Foodie Friday Find: Tropico Cafe

Hi, how's it going?

One of my favourite things I enjoy doing is discovering new cafes and restaurants to try out. During the last couple of years to Tropico café for breakfast and sometimes for lunch.

Their meals are served on wooden board or different coloured plates . Over the last few visits, my friend and I have selected different items from their breakfast menu. Their recently updated menu offers a unique range of breakfast meals to try and taste.
Roasted pumpkin with spinach served with poached eggs and sourdough toast.

Poached eggs and smashed avocado served with lemon, feta and sourdough toast.

Along with a simple, yet healthy drink menu with smoothies ( the acai smoothie is the bomb), juices and of course the important thing coffee! There coffee (which is good) is served with a chocolate biscuit.
From acai smoothies being served in mason jars to lovely coffee served with a small chocolate biscuit.

What cafés are you loving right now?

I hope you enjoyed this post.

    2017 Diaries Haul

    Hi, how's it going?

It's almost the end of the year and it's gone so fast. 2016 has been a good year but the one I get excited about every year is buying a new diary for the next year. Below are the ones I'm loving and hoping to buy:

3 Websites to check out for food lovers

    Hi all, how's it going?

If you enjoy searching the internet for new recipes, ideas or inspirations for food to cook or bake. These three websites I use constantly are great! (Click on the title for direct you to the websites)

    Taste
This website is great for last minute meal ideas to dinner party theme menus ( think Mexican, Indian etc). It's operated by Coles supermarket so if you need to go buy ingredients head straight to Coles! The another thing that I enjoy from the site is the add to shopping list on the thousand recipes they have.

    Food to Love
The Food to Love site is Women's Weekly, I know it's going to be good because if you don't know Women's Weekly have been around for years in Australia. They provide recipes collections of breakfast, lunch, dessert etc! as well as cooking tips.

    Body&Soul
The body and soul website I have been using for tips on food as well as overall health and fitness as well. It's a good site for anyone that wants to experiment more! I made their Cauliflower Fried Rice
and it was delicious! It was so good I have made it twice already for my family!

I hope you enjoyed this post! What websites do you go to for food inspirations or recipes? I would love to know!

    Hi all, how's it going?
On this post of throwback Thursday travels is the short but great  time I had in of the most beautiful places I have visited. Prague! I didn't know what to expect when I found about I was going there. We arrived there after a two hour bus ride, we explored the city for two hours looking at the buildings, bridges and landscapes. This as well as hanging out in the town square.

I did a nuclear bunker tour were we walked deep down into a bunker , looking at the museum  whilst learning about the history. When nighttime came around I missed out on the nightlife because I was sick and my sister said it was best to stay in at night. Either way I enjoyed Prague! Check out the pictures below:

Throwback Thursday Travel: Berlin & Munich

    Hi all, how's it going?
This Throwback Thursday travel post is the short time I spent in Berlin and Munich. I have only there for two days but we cramped a lot in. The first thing we did was visit the Berlin wall that was across the street from our hotel. It was incredible to the historic wall that now has great vibrate art. We went on a spy game at night, my team lost but spent at a nightclub! A lot of fun!

We came back to Munich after a quick trip to Prague. In Munich we bike ride  the city, stopped at a English channel and swam down the stream. After that we visited the second biggest beer garden, drank and ate. I loved Munich I wish we could of been there longer but it's on my list to return.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures! Have you been to Berlin and Munich?

Two books I believe girls should read/have.

    Hi all, how's it going?

This month I have been thinking about how I have grown up over the last four years from being a teenager to being into my 20s. I have always had family and friends to go to for advice when I needed to.

Then I remembered I have these two books that helped me get through puberty and being a teenager. I'm now in my 20's I have being reading them for reassurance about anything that's on my mind.

These twos books Girl Stuff and Women Stuff by Kaz Cooke were like a bible to myself growing up and dealing with everything from body, mind friendship, mental health etc. Even now I have been look through it and so have my friends.

What I love about these books is it's filled with information about everything to do with young girls and women. Their is a discussion page of women  sharing their own opinion and thoughts of the topic. I think it's great their are books like these at there to have as guide for us young girls and women.

What books did you have to help or guide growing up? I would love to know, let me know in the comments!
